Character Parade

The Kindergarten Teachers had a lot of fun this year with our costumes for the character parade!

If you were here and got any pictures of our class, please send them in. I was in the parade and was unable to get any.

What a fabulous time we had on our first field trip. We learned a lot about pumpkins and even got to bring a small one home! To all those parents who came, THANK YOU! It couldnt have been better!

Important Information

Next week’s Events:

We have a busy but fun week next week! We have our field trip, red ribbon week and our character parade.

Monday: Field Trip to Isle of Faith Pumpkin Patch

Tuesday: Drug Free “head to toe”- you may wear crazy hats and socks.

Wednesday: “Vote for your Future”- where red white and blue

Thursday- Character Parade (see info below)

Friday- “Too smart for drugs”- dress like a brainiac

Field Trip: Students are to bring a bagged lunch. Please bring it in a brown bag or something. Regular lunch boxes do not fit in the coolers. If you’re meeting us there please be there by 10am.

Character Parade: Students are to dress up as their favorite book character and bring the book with them. For example: Cat in the Hat, Pete the Cat, The Grouchy Ladybug, etc.

Book Buddies

We had a great time meeting our book buddies today from second grade! They are going to come in every Tuesday and read to us. By the end of the year we will be reading to them!
