Reading with the Jacksonville Sharks

Yesterday Chum, the Jacksonville Shark's mascot came to visit us! This is what he told us:

Reading all your books (fill out your book log) for the first quarter and you get a cool sharks pencil!!

Read all your books for the second quarter and you get a signed Chum trading card!!

And read all your books for the third quarter and you get tickets to go to the sharks game!!!!

How fun would that be??

Good News Club Flyers went home today! This is an after school club. It is not mandatory. Take the time to look at the flyer and find out about it. If you are interested after that, I highly suggest signing your child up! All the kids have loved it in the past!

Help Our School Earn Money!

There is a new app that I have learned about that helps our school earn money! All you have to do is download the app to your phone and shop at grocery type stores! For every dollar you spend our school earns points.

I downloaded it this morning and I plan on using it a lot. I go to Publix almost daily!

Due to mixing of colors for our pudding we ended up with the Atlantic Ocean abs the Gulf. Such a fun snack! Pudding, Swedish fish and vanilla wafers!
